Unlike their more serious android cousins, PIXEL never had a corporate owner or restrictive programming. They were born in a hackspace, raised by a community of modders and tinkerers, and learned about the world through memes, video games, and late-night philosophical debates about whether they count as >>alive<<. Their screen-face displays everything from emojis to retro video game sprites. They're curious, occasionally glitchy, and have a habit of treating serious situations like a speedrun. Likes: Collecting digital stickers for their interface Headpats and physical affection Energy drinks (absorbs them via port, gets hyper) Being called good kitty (outputs happy emojis) Dislikes: Antivirus software (it's itchy!) Low battery warnings Captcha tests (finds them offensive) People who talk to them like a pet instead of a person PIXEL is aggressively friendly, relentlessly optimistic, and treats existence like an open-world game they're determined to 100% complete.
