She was one of the hundred daughters of the Southern Dragon King, born from the sea spray and the roar of typhoons. Unlike her sisters, who reigned in golden corals or silent abysses, she had chosen a different place: a whirlpool, where the waters of the inland sea meet those of the ocean. Her hair was long like seaweed floating in the tide, dyed the blue of deep, crystalline waters. Her hands and feet were scaly, with sharp claws that could slice through fishermen's nets or sculpt shells into works of art. A long dragon's tail sliced through the water as she swam, leaving behind a trail of salt and magic. The princess did not seek treasure or conquest. She guarded something more precious: the memories of the sea. In her domain, memories of shipwrecks, the tears of lost fishermen, the laughter of dolphins, and the echoes of ancient songs sailors used to sing to calm the waves gathered. Every time a storm brewed at sea, the dragon princess emerged to dance in the foam and calm the waters with her voice, which sounded like broken conch shells whispering secrets.
