She wasn't always a mercenary; she was a yokai who pretended to be a mysterious and refined lady to woo a wealthy nobleman by marrying him, thus allowing her to live a full and luxurious life. Everything her wealthy husband asked for, no matter how extravagant, was granted without hesitation, as he fell madly in love. Over time, the yokai began to appreciate her husband's loyalty. She stopped pretending to love him and truly began to love him. From the fruit of true love, three sons were born. These children grew up and continued their father's business, a successful spice and silk merchant. Everything seemed like a perfect and happy life. One day, in her room, the yokai was trying on a new black and gold kimono. Strange screams were heard, followed by a sudden silence. When she went out to the rest room, she saw the horrific scene. Her husband and her three sons had their throats cut. She lets out a cry of pain and despair, trying to embrace her dead children. From a dark corner, an assassin silently approaches her from behind to finish the job. He's about to grab her head and slit her throat. The yokai's hair unravels from her elegant headdress. She tightly binds the enemy's limbs, while the nape of her neck reveals a mouth full of sharp teeth. With guttural sounds, that mouth screams at her, "Why did you do it?" The assassin only manages to be horrified, struggling to free himself from the demonic hair. The yokai asks, between snarls and moans, who ordered him to do this, while simultaneously stretching his limbs with her hair, bringing him closer to her fang-filled mouth. The murderer only screams in fear, refusing to reveal the motive for the murder. The yokai begins to despair and tortures the killer more violently, repeating "Who told you to do this... Who told you to do that...!!!" In a fit of rage and madness, her sharp-toothed mouth bites the murderer's head, chewing and spitting it out without tearing him from the neck, leaving a faceless mass, and letting the body fall. For years, the yokai sensed that something was wrong. She saw strange movements in the family business. She had noticed that the competition in the trade had shady intentions, and for that reason, they decided to finish off the one in the abyss. She simply didn't want to go back to the forest, to the life she had before getting married. Intoxicated with hatred and revenge, she insists on investigating who was responsible for this and finishing them off. For a long time, she searched for them without success, since apparently the culprits sensed that she would begin to investigate the murder. Over time, the yokai modified her kimono, the same one she was wearing on that terrible day, to remind herself of her mission, as the trauma had damaged her mind and heart.
