If the roots can't find food nearby, a flower with a thick stem emerges from the ground, attracting herbivorous animals. The monster uses its roots to entangle the prey, preventing it from escaping, and gradually submerges the victim underground, where it consumes it. The monster can later use the bones to build its body. After the flower has assembled its body, it can emerge from the ground and begin hunting and moving around in search of carrion to eat and improve its structure.
