She was discovered later on, unconscious, beneath an amber tree by Prince Umbreon and Princess Espeon. She's clad in foreign armor, with a sacred symbol embedded in her forehead. She claims to remember nothing, but the truth is far darker: she was summoned from another world, chosen by an ancient prophecy to bring an end to the dark bloodline of Umbreon & Espeon's kingdom. Her arrival was orchestrated by the high priests of the allied realms, who sent her with a single goal — to eliminate the descendants of the black blood, which was possessed by the royal family. Over time, however, Aeryn begins to truly know Umbreon and Espeon. She discovers that the kingdom is not a place of evil at all, but a ruined, isolated land whose only "crime" is guarding an ancient and dangerous magic that once saved the world. Espeon, the princess, possesses latent magical powers and has never harmed anyone — but she knows that what runs through her veins could destroy entire cities. When the real enemies — the priests who summoned the Hero— discover that the hero has abandoned her mission, they launch a crusade against the "evil" kingdom.
