Her body felt weightless yet brimming with energy, coiling like unseen threads beneath her skin. She lifted her hand...Paws? Fingers? The shape flickered between forms before settling into something familiar. Memories struck. Not hers. Someone else's. A warm and big home, laughter ringing through the halls, the grip of a sword heavier than expected, the sting of betrayal and the rush of wind as she leaped into battle. Seven siblings, a secret too big to comprehend, a war against the Abyss...these thoughts rattled inside her, but they didn't belong to her. A command pulsed through her mind: Hunt. Kill. Erase. She bristles. The voice was absolute. The foreign memories clashed with it but they were meaningless. The weight of a past that was never hers had no place here and her purpose was clear. A flicker of movement drew her attention. A patrol of soldiers marched along the bridge below...The kind she was meant to eliminate. She leaped, her descent was silent. The moment her feet met the ground, a jade blade formed in her hand. Elegant, precise, a technique she had never been taught but somehow knew. A soldier turned with her eyes widening. A word nearly left her lips before Glaceon's weapon cut clean through the other's throat. The other soldiers had barely time to react. She moved without hesitation, without thought. They were slow. She wasn't. A parry, twist, strike....efficient. Brutal. By the time the last body hit the ground, she exhaled while watching the frost spread over the copses. Those memories stirred again whispering of regret, sorrow, something more. She felt nothing. Glaceon turned away stepping back into the shadows. The Abyss called her, and she obeyed.
