Buying a staff, or a magic wand costs money, so some young people from low-income magical people usually enlist in the mines, this way they can use their first magic tool: the pickaxe to dig, and in this way they get income and experience. this is the case of this girl (you name it) The vibrant colors of the uniform it's because in the dark of the caves, they need to be seen easily.
