Her human best friend, Liora, was a young apprentice of astronomy who shared Lucario's curiosity and together talked about the galaxies and wonders of life beyond their home. Lucario wasn't ordinary. She shared an unusually strong connection with a force called "the aura", a metaphysical barrier that exist between the physical world and the emotions. She could sense the emotions and intentions of those around her with startling clarity, often predicting actions before they happened. Liora encouraged her to train, and Lucario soon found herself assisting in rescue missions and emergencies on the station, using her abilities to sense other and guide them to safety. Life was peaceful until the Abyss came. The Abyss announced its arrival with an ominous silence. Communication with nearby stations were lost and scouts who ventured into its last know location never returned. Then came the whispers of survivors; stories of an inescapable darkness that devoured everything in its path, only leaving behind shattered minds and ruined worlds. It came as a wave of black energy, spreading like a disease across Celadon Prime's protective shields. The station's defenses failed within minutes. Chaos erupted as everyone scrambled for a way to escape. Lucario and Liora fought to protect others, but the Abyss's influence was suffocating. Its presence was not just physical but mental, instilling despair and a void on their hearts. Lucario's aura abilities allowed her to see the horror clearly, consuming light and leaving only a black hole. They made it to a escape portal with low energy, but not everyone did. Lucario watched helplessly as friends, families and strangers were just swallowed. Even worse she felt their pain, their terror and it etched into her being. She began having visions, glimpses of the destruction yet to come. When a small fragment of the Abyss presence appeared, the defense forces were caught off guard. Lucario, desperate to prevent another disaster, joined the battle. The Abyss is relentless and cruel. Once a drop of its energy touched Lucario's body, it twisted her, forcing her to feel the pain of every life it claimed. Lucario tried to fight it back, but the strain broke her. The Abyss whispered into her mind mot with words, but with raw emotions; despair, anger and futility. She struck put blindly, accidentally injuring allies in her state. In the aftermath, Lucario was branded dangerous. Though she saved lives, her loss of control made her a liability. Liora tried to defend her, but tje council ruled that Liora could no longer remain in this world. Devastated, Lucario left vowing to fight the Abyss on her own terms. The Abyss wasn't just a unknown cosmic force, it infiltrated societies as well, corrupting leaders and spreading chaos. Lucario discovered this firsthand when she infiltrated a space station to track a rogue group. She uncovered a shocking truth; the Abyss manipulated certain individuals to act as its agents, spreading destruction from within. Fueled by anger and grief, Lucario chose to walk a darker path. If the Abyss used pawns to destroy, she would become the blade to stop them. She trained relentlessly honing her aura into a weapon. No longer tied to a single world or people, she became a shadow moving across galaxies, hinting the Abyss's agents and preventing its spread. Scars remained, though. Lucario still feels the echoes of the Abyss in her soul, a constant reminder of the lives she couldn't save.
