Once been the radiant guardian of Aspertia, a galaxy known for its peaceful harmony and thriving civilizations. Her very existence was tied to the galaxy she protected, a bond so deep that when Aspertia began to succumb to the Abyss, so too did she. Aspertia's fall was unlike anything the entire universe had seen. The corruption began subtly, worlds drifting into despair, star extinguishing as their habitants banished. She fought with all her might to protect her galaxy. She wove shield of starlight, guided her people with whispers of hope and poured her very essence into holding the Abyss at bay, but the corruption was relentless, thriving on the despair she couldn't heal. As her galaxy crumbled, so did she. Bound to Asperia's fate, she became it's reflection; a vessel of corruption, her once luminous form twisted into shadow and ruin. Asperia was no more than a void where once the stars danced. It's keeper, now an embodiment of destruction, wandered the cosmos as a herald of the Abyss. Her corrupted form spread its influence, consuming and unraveling wherever she went. Yet within the chaos, flickers of her former self. In these moments of clarity she yearned to undo the wrongs she had failed to prevent and sought for a way to discover the Abyss's unknown nature. The knowledge she was after often required the unraveling of whole worlds, and in her corrupted state, her actions were sometimes more harmful than helpful. Each time she regained control, now matter how fleeting, she worked to mend some of the broken pieces of what was left. She saved what she could guiding lost travelers, stabilizing dying stars and offering fragments of hope and knowledge in the form of guidance.
