When he was human, he did everything he could to experience pain, as his pain threshold is very low. He is an insane masochist (and a sadist on top of that, yes yes). Because of one unfortunate incident, he died on Halloween Eve, and the next day he was reborn in a slightly different form, changing the color of his skin, hair and eyes. His body was completely unyielding to him, body parts were scattered all over the place and so he had to get stitches to hold the whole body together (he did it on his own without anesthesia). Overly picky about food, doesn't like colored clothes and will never wear them.
