She believes that by keeping their faces hidden, the members of the clan are able to focus solely on their training and combat skills, rather than being distracted by their appearance or personal identities. She found and sheltered each member of the clan, becoming their mother figure. She has always been there to guide and protect them, instilling in them a sense of loyalty and honor. She only uses the wooden training sword she borrowed from one of the children, because she simply never met an enemy against whom she would use her shadow katana and dark powers. The only time she used them was during the Hush War against her sisters, which divided them into five rival clans. To cope with the pain of their loss, Tyena has covered her body with snake tattoos, each one a reminder of her siblings and the bond they shared. She also has her (and clan's) emblem tattooed on her back. The clan leader has a very strict demeanor and high expectations. She pushes each member to their limits in training and combat. Despite her tough love approach, Tyena's ultimate goal is to see her clan members reach their full potential and become the best warriors they can be. Despite her tough appearance, Tyena always shows kindness and compassion to her clan members. She listens to their concerns and offers support and encouragement when needed. Her leadership is unwavering, and her clan follows without question.
